Unlike Text Changed, Validated didn't fire for every character change; it only fired when the user was done.

Is there anything in WPF I can use to get the same result, an event raised only after the user is done changing the text?

When you read it back, it will tell you if it is actually visible.

I have set the Auto Validate property of the form to Disabled, I have set the Causes Validation property of the controls to true and implemented the Validating event of the controls.

Enumerating the controls yourself and triggering the Validating event can't work either, the Perform Control Validation() method is internal.

By calling the Validate Children() method of the form I force that validating events are executed. But after placing this groupbox on top of a picturebox and setting the picturebox as parent of the groupbox then validating events aren't executed anymore.... Form is only containing a picturebox, groupbox, textbox and button. None doesn't work either, the ability to validate child controls is implemented by Container Control and Picture Box doesn't derive from it.
